I put teal and purple feathers in my hair.

I'm kind of surprised they don't show up that much. I used to have all of my hair violet so to me this is understated.

It's a little too hot today. I like it around 75.

This ones called Astral.

It's supposed to be spring for a while not summer. I really wish downtown San Rafael had a public pool I could go to when it gets hot. That's the only thing that's missing from my happy town. It get's so hot here too. We really need a public pool. The nearest one is in Terra Linda.

Old girl scout songs from my childhood

This is an old song that my mom learned at girl scout camp when she was little. She only new one verse of it. I had no idea there were so many verses.

Kookaburra sits on the old gum tree,
Merry merry king of the bush is he.
Laugh, Kookaburra, laugh, Kookaburra,
Gay your life must be!

Kookaburra sits on the old gum tree,
Eating all the gum drops he can see.
Stop Kookaburra, stop Kookaburra
Save some there for me!

Kookaburra sits on the old gum tree,
Counting all the monkeys he can see.
Laugh Kookaburra, laugh Kookaburra
That's not a monkey, that's me!

Alternative verses

Kookaburra sits on the electric wire,
Jumping up and down, with his pants on fire.
Ouch, Kookaburra, ouch! Kookaburra,
Hot your tail must be!

Kookaburra sits on a rusty nail,
Gets a boo-boo in his tail.
Cry, Kookaburra, cry, Kookaburra,
Oh how life can be!

Kookaburra sits on the old gum tree,
Eating all the gum drops he can see.
Laugh Kookaburra, laugh Kookaburra
Gay your life must be!

This is another song my mom taught us from childhood
I found this youtube video of some kids singing it on a porch swing. Cute. I had no idea other people even sang these songs anymore.

I don't fit into monatany .

I just had this thought that I really don't fit into monotony. I could never be a secretary and type stuff up all day or any kind of job like that where there isn't that much rich meaningfulness and your doing the same kind of thing day in and day out. There's no way. I would rather live this kind of life where I experience all kinds of pain in order to keep my wild freedom. I'm like some kind of crazy vine that grows wild in a jungle. I need to be free really bad. I just can't be forced into a little house pot. Ideally, like now, I have everything I need and I don't have painful experiences. I have tons of love and support and tons of resources so I get to have my freedom and my love and support at the same time.

The sun is poking out behind the couds life is good

The sun is poking out behind the clouds. I realize I have so many resources right within walking distance of my building. I have a good art supply store. The post office. Really good restaurants. Free bubble wrap and loads of it from the neighboring business. They also gave me some cardboard that's big enough for my paintings. There's free food should I ever need it. There's a got to be more than this that I just don't want to take the time to remember right now. I put 6 paintings up on ebay yesterday.

The Poka doted girl and the witch

There once was a nice happy girl that wore polka doted dresses, sold flowers and sang. She was so happy that she sang and sang all day long while selling flowers. She new a million tunes and could easily sing a song on request. She was very popular in her merry town. She had tons of friends everywhere that would happily chat with her.She was an original and stepped to the beat of her own drum. She sewed her own dresses and painted her own polka dots and strips on her dresses her self. They perfectly expressed her own unique free soul/spirit. Children liked her and they would play hide and go seek with her in the street. Sometimes she would stop selling flowers for a moment and go play an impromptu game of duck duck goose with a group of school kids. Grown ups would come week after week as her regular customers and buy tons of her flowers because they loved her and she had the best personality of any of the flower sellers.

One day a finely dressed customer came up to her and said he would buy all of the flowers for a week if she would go to his castle. The customer was humorous and dressed well , and had a big smile so the flower girl thought he was a fine person, what could be wrong with going to his castle for a while. Besides, she really wanted all the money at once from the selling of the flowers so she could buy a bunch of hamburgers right away. So off she went with the well dressed customer off to his castle. When they got there the nice customer asked if she would like to sit down to some tea. She said yes. They were sitting in a nice parlor with plush couches and chairs and tables with Tiffany carved table legs. The man brought out the tea on a silver platter. She started drinking the tea. As soon as she started drinking the tea strange things started to happen. All of the polka dots on her dress melted and washed away and suddenly she was wearing a gray sack cloth. She had been humming a little tune all day but as soon as she drank the tea her singing voice disappeared and suddenly she found it very hard to sing. When she tried it sounded very solum and out of key. Something happened, the customers face seamed to age a bunch and he had a long straggly beard that grew all of a sudden. He had hairs popping out of his ears and his back turned into a hunch back. The moat that they drove over closed up right after them and the castle was dark and grim and had bats flying around in it. Suddenly the customer turned into a witch. He took a ball and chain and attached it to her ankle so she couldn't run away. He said now that she was there he wanted her to do all of the house work and that she could never leave. The Polka doted girl was under his spell now since she drank the tea that was really a witches brew, magic tea. She had gotten brain washed by the tea and now she thought that she needed to stay there forever doing his housework. So the girl slaved away night and day mopping the floors cleaning the bathrooms cleaning the dogs hair off of the stairs day and night.A month had gone by of this and her very best friend off in the friendly happy town was really worried about her. She hadn't seen her for a month and was wondering where she could of gone to. Her very best friends name was Rainbow. Rainbow prayed and prayed for a way to find the Polka dotted girl again. As she was praying one day a bird came up to her and whispered the address of the castle in her ear. So Rainbow wrote the Polka dotted girl a letter and asked if she was OK and also how to find her again. The bird brought the letter to the castle and flew it over the castle walls to the polka dotted girl. As soon as the Polka dotted girl opened the letter it set a good spell on her and she remembered who she was all of a sudden her voice came back and her beautiful polka dots returned. She got her strength back and started to make a plan to get herself out of there. Just then a legion of storks were flying by and they had a great big sheet with them. They stopped and flew over the castles walls and into the court yard where the polka dotted girl was. They flew down with the sheet and carried her threw the air. It was exhilarating. She was flying trough the air with the birds. They flew her back home to her own safe town and to her friend Rainbow. The whole town rejoiced that the Polka dotted girl had come home and was safe and fine. They had a big party in the street for her with beautiful paper lanterns glowing and live Cajun music playing. They all danced together through the night until they fell asleep from too much dancing. The polka dotted girl layed down in her bed after all of that dancing and thought to herself what she could of learned from this experience. And this is what she thought.

I need to be very careful and listen to my heart about what is best. If someone has bad vibes in any way don't trust them no matter how good a business deal it is they seam to have. Also never give away my real true self, my free spirited self, my authentic self for any reason, good seaming business deal or not. The polka dotted girl got wiser after this experience and decided to never go for something like that ever again.
