Kava, my dad brought me my camera out of storage

I had sort of a relaxed day today. My dad came by and brought me my high resolution camera I had been wanting for a few months. I had, had it in a storage that is really far away. What a relief. Now I'm not held back by the camera issue. I went to the herb store in San Francisco thats on Valencia street and got about 30$ worth of Kava Kava I use it for fun but it also helps me go to sleep. My mind can get too many creative ideas too late at night and it's better if I use Kava.

I went to a coaching seminar, my neighbor will lend me a camera

I went to this seminar called "taking the starving out of artist". I found it on meet up. It was free tonight and it was really helpful. We talked about a lot of things like making stop gaps and how to make sales. It helps for me to be around people who are successful at money. Really helpful. He talked about how he makes his own personal economy and that just got me so excited. We really do create our own reality and that includes money. That's how I like to see it too. I create my own personal economy. I am happy. It was led by Jeff Slayter. He seamed kind of sensitive so I could trust him and yet he knows a lot about business and was able to help with financial information. Yea! I'm going to go to a whole weekend of his business coaching in a big group setting. One of my neighbors might have a camera that gets high enough resolution so I can take pictures for my prints. I'm chomping at the bit to get this work done so then I can work more on promotions. It doesn't help to do promotions though if I don't have the product ready. I talked to my friend Sara and my friend Linda today. It's nice to chat with them. Yea! Yea! Yea|!

what I did yesterday , talked to the neighbor, painted for hours

I remember talking to my neighbor who just started a wood working business next door, it seams like it was a really long time ago, it was yesterday morning. He was really friendly and he has a bunch of woodworking saws. I've been thinking about wanting to cut the boards I paint on into smaller boards for a while, and that maybe he would do it. Yesterday was the day. I started working on these smaller pieces today which I ended up liking. There about 8 by 11". I wish I had a camera. I would put them right up on this blog. I do have five new little paintings I'm happy with. I worked on them for a long time. My neighbor was nice and it's nice to have a good neighbor where you both want to help each other out. He gave me a sample of milk paint which is environmentally and person friendly paint. I also got the idea to put carnauba wax on my watercolors after I'm done painting them to keep them protected from water. He had a sample of his furniture with the carnauba wax, and it looked shiny and protected. I've been thinking about water protection and wa la he showed me a soultion. Oh yea I finally got good computer speakers today and I listened to a few mixes from Buddha Bomb. I was really in love with some of the music . I realy love middle eastern type music and he had some out of this world middle eastern music. Ok all for now, Nina

This is the first day of my new blog. I'm a emerging abstract artist. I've had about five shows in a small Californian town but I haven't had any so far in a place that has a really vital economy. I usually live in San Rafael, Ca but I was traveling around recently and wasn't home to show my work. Now I'm home and I'm excited because I want to start showing my work here where there are Mercedes and BMW's everywhere. I have a fun test I do. I've done it several times. It's a test of how rich of a area I live in. I sit at the bus stop and count how many BMW's , Mercedes and lexus cars drive by in five minutes. I get about three a lot of the time, literally. I live the county of Marin, Ca. It's a very rich area. I've got to be able to sell some work here. Right now I'm stuck a little bit because I have to wait until Febuary when I'll have enough money to go fetch some artwork and artwork tools I have in storage far away. Amony the things I have to ship here is my really high quality digital camera that I need to photograph my work for prints before I sell my new originals. I don't want to give away any of my originals before there photographed because I need to be able to make prints from them. I've been working on other things that I can get done now while I'm waiting.
